As I clicked that button, I knew my work was done for the evening. My feedreader was empty as was my inbox. My eyes were bloodshot; my back was sore; and my energy level had crashed harder that some of the tech stocks that I used to own. I badly needed a full night of sleep. I pushed myself away from my desk, walked over to my bed and got under the covers.

It is still unclear which next generation business models will dominate in the local advertising revolution. The giant online portals are “localizing” significant parts of their experiences, search engines are trying to hyper-localize their results, wireless phone platforms are expanding local functionality, and startups are introducing new business concepts.

Do you have a business website that contains your home address on it?
You might want to check out your address on Google Maps and see if your house is included in Google’s “Street View”. If yes, you might want to take a critical look at your house and your neighborhood and consider how a prospective client might view what they are seeing.

We have a client who came to us in March to help procure a Reconsideration Request from Google. De-indexing and reconsideration at Google is not a simple feat. Google reconsideration and religion have a lot in common. Many faiths (as with many search engines) have the same premise, be good and you will be rewarded.
