As SEM Channel Manager, Eric is responsible for leading Google’s SEM strategy across vertical and regional sales teams in North America. Eric also works closely with Google’s product and management teams to ensure alignment with the SEM community.
Eric has eight years of online marketing experience. Before joining Google in 2004, he spent several years with America Online. While with the AOL division of Time Warner, Eric was responsible for managing the sales strategy of their largest content partners such as EBay, CBS, and Monster.com. Eric also successfully integrated Time Warner’s online properties including People.com, CNN.com, Money.com and Fortune.com into AOL’s interactive media offerings.
Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UC Santa Barbara and also developed strong analytical skills working on Wall Street for Charles Schwab & Co. before pursuing a career in digital marketing.
