Search engine marketing has been Stanford's primary professional focus for the last several years with an emphasis on search engine optimization. Fascinated by SEO since 1995, he achieved high search engine position for his own sites, those of his employers, and for for clients. He has had articles published, lectured at universities, and presented in seminars.

Stan can help you plan, architect, design, implement your search engine strategy and monitor and improve results.  He is putting what he has learned on his new website, Search Engine Marketing Today which includes SEO articles and a forum on which you can ask questions.

Management positions in engineering, manufacturing and marketing at Tektronix, Intel, and high-tech startups, prepared Stanford to understand the needs of clients when he entered Internet world in 1995. Subsequent positions in the industry as account manager, Web producer, and Web Architect provided the opportunity to work with those clients on their information Web sites, online stores, and Internet marketing campaigns to satisfy their needs whether they be national apparel chain stores or local small businesses.

Stanford was invited to join the SEMpdx board because of his search engine expertise and record of major contributions to another industry association: IPN. He has contributed by driving the Website effort, planning SearchFest 07, and serving as a panelist and upcoming speaker.

Stanford served IPN as President, Program Chair, founding board member, and is now a member of SAO IPSIG.
