Nice interview Todd (although could be a little longer). Trying to get hold of Rand for an interview myself. Is there anything he hasn't been asked?

On the point of the recession, I've noticed "traditional" agencies trying to jump on the online bandwagon and making an absolute balls of things.

Yeah I agree with the sentiment search should do well in a recession/depressing. Especially as more online retailers move online. But that's not to say it won't be affected. When traditional marketing managers begin slashing budgets. They usually just cut across everything.

Another great interview. Great to see a start up going so well and growing. Also agree with the economic downturn statement. I think SEO will see an increase due to the cost increases in print and such.

Great interview. Its nice to hear someone like Randfish saying that the economic downturn was going to actually be good for SEO folks.

Just to add to that, the great depression created more millionaires in the U.S. than any other time period because money that had been controlled by the elite was lost and floating around waiting for innovative people to grab.

Nice interview here. I agree with Rand's notion that the down economy is good for SEO firms. We've never been busier.
