Senior Search Engine Marketing Account Executive
Focus on Paid Search (PPC)
Amplify Interactive is looking for a Search Engine Marketing AE with a minimum of 2-3 years experience managing paid search campaigns. While the focus of this role will be on servicing our pay-per-click (PPC) clients & account work, the ideal candidate will also have a working knowledge of SEO & social media with a desire to learn and support our work in these areas.
The AE will lead, manage and execute all aspects of pay per click campaign development and management, including campaign planning, execution, optimization, analysis, and reporting. The candidate will work directly with our clients to create strategy and optimize campaigns for ROI.
The ideal candidate is Google AdWords qualified and has demonstrated experience in managing and optimizing PPC campaigns. The ideal candidate will have managed large paid search campaigns in-house or in an agency setting. The candidate will be results-driven, organized, articulate and a self-starter. Experience and expertise with Excel and PowerPoint required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Developing and managing pay-per-click advertising campaigns (Google, Yahoo, Bing, Facebook, etc): competitive analysis, keyword research, text ad creation, landing page testing and optimization, bid management to ROI
Client services – direct management of client contacts & communication
Work with internal team members as well as 3rd party client contacts & agency partners to execute campaigns
Creating PPC campaign reports with analysis, highlights, recommendations and next steps
Maintain PPC knowledge and improve our PPC practice through self-education and communication with your team
Secondary responsibilities include
SEO & link/social media campaign strategy & support
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years PPC management experience
Demonstrated proficiency and results with PPC campaigns
Experience working in a client services environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or MIS or related disciplines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Advanced Excel skills including pivot table and vlookup
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to organize and manage large volumes of data
Strong, demonstrated writing skills
Ability to multitask with an attention to detail in a deadline-driven atmosphere
Motivated self-starter who’s able to self-manage, learn quickly
The following will put you over the top:
Knowledge of SEO is a plus
Client service / agency experience
Experience in website creation, code and/or blogging is a HUGE plus
Knowledge of and experience with Google Analytics
