Portland Area – Director of Marketing Wanted….

My client is looking for a Director of Marketing to develop strategic marketing initiatives to achieve new customer growth and market-development targets.  This position will focus on expanding the Company's external marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities Included:

- Build customer base and increase new customer acquisitions through external channels.

- Identify strategies to drive traffic and cross-functionally work with team members to promote products through external initiatives

- Work closely with Product Managers to ensure marketplace is presented accurately and promoted consistently cross-channel

- Coordinates marketing efforts with Sales Team

- Assist in development strategies to improve online customer experience

- Drive e-commerce strategies to align with business growth objectives

Position Requirements:

- Knowledge of in-depth marketing experience working with the various web technologies, platforms and program languages to deliver external (on and off-line) marketing campaigns

- Knowledge of PPC campaign management, SEO knowledge and email marketing and email marketing and customer database mining

- 5+ years marketing management experience, preferably in an online/Internet/ e- commerce environment.
