Microsoft is looking for a strategic, dynamic and innovative digital marketing professional with extensive paid search marketing (SEM) experience to join the Microsoft Global Media team within the Central Marketing Group (CMG). The Search Engine Marketing Manager plays a lead role focused on driving comprehensive search marketing strategies, plans, and optimization guidance across 35 geographies and a variety of Microsoft brands with multi-million dollar budgets. In this role, you will work with media team leads, partner search agencies and search engines to deliver differentiated SEM strategies to drive the most effective ROI on search marketing investment.
The candidate should have a proven track record of success launching and sustaining search engine marketing campaigns and experience managing complex global process and execution. Marketing creativity and business accountability are also necessary. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet continual deadlines with flawless execution. This role requires a passion for search marketing and digital media, as well as an intense curiosity about the future of how consumers interact with each other, consume and engage with content, and develop affinity to brands online.
Key Responsibilities:
• Be part of a team that leads global strategy development across up 35 geographies and supervises campaign execution across the search marketing function
• Strong partnership and collaboration with other marketing communications discipline leads to ensure maximum impact and integration with advertising
• Manage our search agencies to deliver optimal results for the businesses developing a model for global agency management
• Responsible for campaign insights, establishing testing strategies, and advanced analytics
• Partner with key stakeholder in all regions to ensure Global Search direction is relevant and applicable to Regional objectives
Experience:
• Strong leadership and project management skills

• BA/BS in communications, marketing or related discipline required
