Pacific Northwest Software Quality Conference – job position opening for PNSQC website developer

Looking for web master.  Part-time contract work.  Estimate 10-15 hours per month but varies.  Part maintenance, part new features.  Focus will be on growing the site with respect to a member community, networking, and interaction.

Skills and requirements:

Skills    

• Excellent working knowledge of wordpress, including wordpress plug-ins.
• Excellent working knowledge of PHP.  Scripting.  Linux environment.
• Excellent working knowledge of XHTML and CSS.
• Expertise in look and feel, and user interface.
• Knowledgeable in SEO helpful.
• Knowledgeable in developing web apps helpful

Good attention to detail. 

• Keeps track of work to be done. 
• Doesn’t need a lot of reminders. 
• Attention to quality.
• Keeps good track of defects. 
• Takes pride in work and gets things mostly or completely right the first time.
• Good at writing documentation for content created.
• Proactive (if sees something wrong or has suggestions for improvements, then raises them)

• Support content providers not familiar with html

• Metrics including for usage patterns, pages visited
