Account Manager
Job Description
Primary Goal
To keep our clients happy by ensuring that their campaigns perform extremely well.
Tasks Involved
• Campaign Management. Overlook clients’ campaigns using . Analyze SERPs and make strategic decisions about what kind of SEO is appropriate in each case (organic, local, Shopping, videos, etc.)
• Team Management. Assign tasks to other team members at the beginning of each month and supervise them so they meet their deadlines.
• Client Relations. Make sure clients are always happy, address complaints and solve problems.
• Continuous Education. Read SEO and social media blogs and attend seminars.
• Email. Answer clients emails within 24 hours.
• Blogging. Write two blog posts a week.
• Sales. Make sales calls when Zeke is out of town.
• Reporting. Send monthly reports to every client and update our clients so they know what we’re working on.
• SEO Work. On-page optimization, posting to Facebook/Twitter/blogs.
Skills Required
• 3 years of SEO experience with outstanding results (organic traffic and top rankings for competitive keywords)
• Excellent at interpreting data and coming up with action plans.
• Experience using Google Analytics, Raven Tools, Google/Yahoo/Bing Webmaster Centrals, SEOMoz, and IBP is preferred.
• Organized and capable of coordinating a team of 10 people.
• Excellent people skills to impress clients and potential clients.
• Updated about the latest changes in the SEO world.
• Good writing skills.
