I know this might be a little elementary, but what is the main difference between SEO and PPC? Do you consider PPC to be part of SEO?

SEO = Search Engine Optimization, and is regarded as "organic" or free, search rankings.

PPC = Pay Per Click – Sponsored clicks, so no, not a part of SEO.

However, both are part of SEM, "Search Engine Marketing"

Hi Scott,

Thanks for giving me a quick overview on that.

I'm just wondering what do mean by "organic" ?

Thanks!

Organic simply means not paid. The natural search rankings as opposed to PPC / Google Adwords
