SEMpdx Hosts SearchFest 07 at World Forestry Center

PORTLAND, Ore. (February 20th, 2007) – Search Engine Marketing Professionals of Portland (SEMpdx) officially announced SearchFest 07, the Northwest’s largest conference dedicated to search engine marketing (SEM). The full-day conference will feature multiple learning tracks, workshops and expert panels to help businesses leverage SEM to increase awareness and revenue. The event brings together industry experts from around the country, including executives from Google, MSN and Yahoo! In addition, SEMPO’s Vice President Jeffrey Pruitt will be the keynote speaker, discussing “SEM 2.0: Where Web 2.0 and Search Intersect.” Local companies like The Portland Trailblazers and WebTrends will also participate as panelists. SearchFest 2007 is open to all SEM professionals and anyone in the general business community interested in maximizing their success with SEM. The full-day conference will provide programs for both beginners and advanced marketers. Two separate tracks – Fundamentals and Advanced – will cover a comprehensive range of topics to help businesses be more successful. In addition, Workshop sessions will provide specialized content.
Conference tracks will cover a wide variety of topics, ranging from search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) fundamentals to more advanced tracks covering the latest SEM techniques, including leveraging Web 2.0 to increase online visibility and sales, Web analytics and future trends.
