Membership is open to individuals and companies, including SEM firms and consultants, in-house marketing professionals, web developers, advertising agencies, students and the wider business community having an interest in organic search engine optimization and paid search strategies. There are three levels of membership and a wide range of opportunities to participate in the growth and direction of the organization.

Education and Awareness

SEMpdx hosts monthly Educational events on the second Tuesday of each month with topics including local search, ppc managjement, improving analytics and social media. Members receive discount pricing to all networking events.
SEMpdx e-Newsletter keeps members up-to-date on the latest in Portland’s SEM community. Delivered monthly, it includes event announcements, industry news, and informative articles written by SEM experts.
White Papers and Articles on SEM best practices and tips are available to members in the member area of the SEMpdx’s website.
Online Forum and Blogs enable SEMpdx professionals to learn from one another and share knowledge with the business community.

Networking and Professional Development

SEMpdx Networking events are held monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of each month connecting SEM professionals and area businesses

Members can post resumes and job openings to a publicly-viewable job board

Special Events (including a Membership Appreciation Event) occur throughout the year and include guest speakers, workshops and other activities. Members receive advance invitations as well as discount pricing to these events
