Anna Madill is the Founder and CEO of Avenue, a digital marketing agency that empowers growth-minded and purpose driven companies to make a difference in the world through results-driven digital marketing, strategic problem-solving and exceptional customer service. Avenue’s proprietary marketing products and custom services help brands and businesses of all sizes grow sustainably and successfully. Prior to founding Avenue, Anna held a variety of executive leadership roles at regional digital and full-service agencies.

Anna is passionate about having a meaningful impact on our community through volunteerism and currently serves on the Statewide Board of Directors for SMART (Start Making A Reader Today). Anna is also a speaker and instructor for organizations such as the American Marketing Association, SEMpdx, ACT -W, Clark College and Portland State University on the topics of digital marketing, entrepreneurship and women in technology.

Kevin Getch is the Founder and Lead SEO at Webfor, a full-service digital marketing agency providing search engine optimization, social media marketing, website and logo design. His claim to fame is that his team won the Vancouver Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Business Award in 2013 and he was nominated earlier in 2014 for the small business person of the year award for the state of Washington.

When he’s not focusing on helping small businesses grow their brand he’s practicing Jiu Jitsu and spending time with his wife and two kids.

Ryan is an Associate Director of Demand Gen at Obility, an agency that specializes in B2B marketing. Ryan believes in the power of digital marketing to drive effective and measurable results. Ryan started his career in internet marketing in 2006 and that’s when he discovered SEMpdx events. His career background and experience is diverse. He’s worked both in house and at an agency, helping small local businesses develop their first digital campaign or managing campaigns spending over $100K monthly to exceed company goals. Ryan has spoken at multiple SEMpdx events and conferences like Seattle Interactive.

When he’s not geeking out about digital marketing he’s probably either spending time with his large family or riding mountain bikes

Scott’s career in search started in the late 1990’s, as the owner of a computer & software store. He offered computer repair service and sold software online until 2002, when he began marketing for other businesses. In 2004 he founded Search Commander, Inc.& GetWPress, started attending and speaking at various conferences, and eventually became one of the founding board members of SEMpdx.

Robert Frost is the Director of Professional Services at Odysys, a SaaS provider for the hospitality industry, where he manages Paid Search, Social, Display and Retargeting campaigns for the company and its customers. He is also consulting on Paid Media strategies with small, local businesses as the founder and principal at RPerro Media. Prior to Odysys, Robert was the Director of Media Operations at Ethology (previously EngineWorks), while also managing the agency’s Portland office. Robert has over 10 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on Paid Media across many verticals. He was a long-time volunteer at SEMpdx events, and is enjoying even more interaction with the SEMpdx community as the Director of Events.

Garrett Browne moved to Portland in 2014 to join what was then called Ethology, with four years of paid search experience. Originally from Montana, Garrett has built and managed paid search campaigns in multiple verticals ranging from Hospitality to Real Estate, Dental Services to Construction. On the Ethology team, Garrett worked with his team on managing, optimizing, creating strategies, and working directly with clients on campaigns for Waste Management, Franchise Services Inc, Culligan Water, LifeLock and many others as a Paid Search Specialist, before assuming the role as Director of Paid Media. Garrett is currently the Director of Digital at MBT Marketing, overseeing all digital media campaigns, web development, as well as client and new business strategy as it relates to digital with the account team. Outside of the office, Garrett is a sports enthusiast, closely following most professional and college leagues, with an avid love of baseball.
