Retooling You Career
Portland State’s Multimedia Professional Program will kick off the year with Orientation on Saturday, September 24, 2011, 1-3 pm. Three certificates, Interactive Producer and Internet Design, starting September 27, and Digital Marketing Strategies, starting September 30, are designed for working professionals and career changers updating traditional media skills in print design, content development, marketing/PR and related fields. SEMpdx is proud to partner with Portland State’s Multimedia Professional Program to provide the annual Scholarship for the SEM Workshop, which is part of the Digital Marketing Strategy Certificate series. The application deadline for the scholarship is September 9, 5 PM. The applicant chosen to receive the scholarship will be announced on September 16th at the 3rd Annual Rooftop Networking Party.

The Multimedia Professional Program (MPP) is part of the School of Extended Studies, Professional Development Center at Portland State University, and offers university classes taught by over 30 top Portland interactive developers, designers, and executives. Read more…. Classes are structured to meet needs of current business professionals and may be taken as individual courses or as part of a certificate. Digital Marketing Strategy classes are held in the Market Square Building. Evening and weekend lab classes are held in the state-of-the-art Broadway Lab on SW Broadway and Jefferson.
